Quality rum-based coffee liqueur. Kahlua is a necessary ingredient for many classic shorts as well as Black or White Russians, Mudslides - the list is practically endless. An essential tool of the trade.
Tasting Note
Nose: Freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. T
Palate: Lightly syrupy and sweet. Dark chocolate and coffee compete for prominence with strong vanilla and faint smokiness.
Finish: Mocha espresso and white chocolate (Milky Bar).
Overall: Previously a goto coffee liqueur but repeated drops in alcohol have ripped out the guts of Kahlúa to leave it comparatively thin compared to more premium competitors.
